Default Quick question about putting 00 Ex brakes on a 88 crx si

I have 2000 ex Civic front brakes, and I was wondering if you can put them on to a Crx.

I have always been told to use DA brakes, but I have the civic ones laying around my shop. So does it work?

The knuckles geometry are too different to work.

90-91 EX knuckles bolt on perfectly, while the 92+ EX's are different.
