coilovers vs. springs
So I got a 97 Hatch. I'm planning on getting 16" wheels, but before I do that I'm gonna lower the damn thing. This just for my daily driver so it doesn't have to be super great. What's the safest amount I can lower it before having to get a camber kit or damaging something like shocks?
Also I'm thinking springs would be better because well they're cheaper and I don't think I'm gonna be slamming the thing. I was thinking 1.5" - 2" drop?

my brothers 96 hatch is running H&R Limited Edition ones with are 2" in front and 1.75" in back sits way nice. and no camber. well maybe a little bit but barely noticeable.
Usually, getting the wheels done first with a little forethought as to how they will fit and THEN lowering down on to that is the way to go.

Either way, if I get the rims first or springs, I have to make sure that it's gonna work with the other. So I'm in the same boat either way.
I'd prefer to drive it lowered on steelies then on rims and look like a monster truck.

if it's a DD i'd go with springs...coilovers can get annoying when it's a DD and hit bumps and stuff it's also harder on things like balljoints and wheel bearings
unless your like me and just don't care....k-sports on the DD for me... PM DRFlickner on honda-tech classifides if you want k-sports for around $570 shipped.
