I am helping my friend with his 96 honda accord ex. He is leaving on a 1000 mile drive from texas to arizona on monday and his window just messed up today. It wont roll back up.
Drivers side works fine, passenger side has no response from either sides switch. my first thought was that the motor was bad, so we got a new one and plugged it in just to test it. no response. motor is good, because i put 12 volts from the battery to it and it worked. however, it doesnt work when plugged into the harness. theres no way both switches went out at the same time.

If anyone has any advice or a wiring diagram that would be great.

The rear 2 windows dont work either. Im thinking maybe the master switch? If the driver side switch is bad, would the other switches fail also?

We got the window up by running 2 wires directly from the window motor to the battery so at least all his stuff wont get jacked.

Might sound stupid but is the window lock on? Might want to check that.
