Default did anyone buy the s/t adapter kit?

i was about to buy the suspension technique rear sway bar on summit and looked at the suggested parts and there is an adapter kit for like $52. i was told everything that was needed came with the sway bar.so why is there an adapter kit?

The adapter kit is for 88 civic with itr style lower control arm. I bought one, but if I had seen one first I would not have paid so much for something you could make for $2.00

Is the kit needed if you have an 88 with 89-91 LCAs?
Also what exactly is the kit?

I thought they included that piece for cars without the swaybar hole in the arm? you might want to just ask summit or S/T
