left hand drive crx made in japan?
Hey, I was just wondering how many left hand drive 88-91 crx models were actually made in japan? I know most were supposedly produced in canada?
maybe you should go to japan and count them, and who gives a **** if a car is left hand drive or right hand drive? You JDM freaks these days are just funny.

if it was MADE in japan, wouldnt that make it JDM....
if it was MADE in japan, wouldnt that make it JDM....
so if i was to rebuild my car with parts made in japan that are identical to any other oem part and resell my car in japan, that would make it JDM, then put a jdm sticker on the door i could sell it for twice the value? Since it is JDM of course
JDM=Built/Assemble for the Japanese Market, hence "Japanese Domestic Market"
There are BMW Z4's and X5's that are assemble in SC, but not all of them are for USDM. Same with this case, built in Japan but for the US Market.
You'd have to put parts that are intended for the Japanese Market(like speedometer, safety equipement, emissions equipment, and information labels, RHD, etc.), THEN it'll be "JDM"(actually converted to JDM).

If you're trying to get technical then what is usdm? no honda/acuras were made in the us, right? but anyways jdm doesn't just mean it was made in japan, as the poster above said. anyawys what's the point of this thread?

JDM does not = made in japan. JDM means built for the Japanese Domestic Market. It could be made in any country in the world and still be JDM... Likewise just because my 2 EFs, my FD, and my NB were made in Japan they are all still USDM...

Of course you wouldn't, you live in the states. They usually have a 1 or a J. Up here they pretty much all have a 2. Very few 1s and all crxs are J.
JDM sucks *****.

Thing is, only the JDM CB Accords that were made in Ohio got the "Honda America" badges.
