Default finally i can say, here is my bike

after almost 2 months of looking i finally found the bike i wanted
26 hours, 2000km, and 1 dead rabbit later (doubled back crushed by truck, fired into trailer), here she is
i went over it really well this morning before taking it for a little ride around the neighbour hood. all i had to do was tighten the chain

I am really happy, this bike is super super easy to ride. Even when i went full throttle in second gear for a few seconds i didn't fear for my life haha

gear - check
Course - check (didn't loose a single point )
bike - check
insurance and plates - 2 weeks gotta wait 2 weeks being sent to montreal for work on monday. DAMN IT lol

anyway here are the pics

thanks guys

I didn;t even bother checking at toronto Ducati.
the prices up here are double what they go for in the US. Plus there was only 15 2002 Darks brought into canada in 02. Chances of finding one not soo good. this only has 3400miles on it as well

Must be an 02 because it doesn't have two front rotors.

The PO already removed the beer tray, nice!

I think removing the beer tray upsets the bike's lines. With it, it looks sleek; without, it looks stubby.

People just do it because it looks modified, IMO. If you stop and take a step back, I really do think it looks better.

i actually like it without the so called beer tray. It looks clenaer this way. Well not with the ghetto way the dude did the signal lights. I am going ot get an LED brake leight with bilt in signal lights. that should look much better

i went ot look at it this monring and found the oil filter was wet with oil and a small spot on the floor, DOH
there are no gaskets in that area so i am going to go try and find a filter today and change it, maybe the seal is no good anymore

lol thanks

The oil leaking problem was just the filter, the seal is toast. I could not find a Ducati filter anywhere on a Sunday, so i put this one back on nice and tight, put fresh oil in it, and went for a ride lol. still just sweats a tiny bit. Need to order some filters
