how to mix PRIMER before use to paint???
Honestly, if you have got the primer and its in front of you and you can't figure out on your own how to mix it or you didn't obtain the info beforehand, your way ahead of yourself. Options, see if its printed on the can,ask who you got it from, reference the tech manual for the product, call a paint rep/ company for the product, ect. Mix it w/ the hardener as directed, strain it into the gun through a filter.
for 90% of the primer out there, its a 4-2-1 ratio.
4 parts primer, 2 parts medium reducer, 1 part hardener. However, like stated before, its always best to ask someone who has DIRECT experience with that particular product, and what reducers and hardeners should be used with it.

Yeah that's the new line. Damn near everything is 4-1 with DuPont now.

Usually a reducer for a sealer primer, reducer & hardner for a filler primer. But it really all depends on the company/product.
