Default De-badging help

I have heard it is easy to debadge cars, but I just wanted to double check before I made a big mess on my car. The typical way I have heard is heat it carefully, dental floss it off, remove residue with some kind of good be gone, then buffer it out. Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

Sounds like you got the right info. Pretty easy process, dental floss or some fishing line to cut through the tape. Goo Gone or 3M Adhesive Remover to take of residue from tape, buff if needed.

I just feel like making my Civic stick out there's another person with the same car in my school lot. I want people to know this one is mine, and this is a free way to do that.

keep people guessing what it is.
alot of people still go "wow, thats a civic? nice.."

i took the stickers on the doors off right when i got the car home. i assume yours are still on?

plus, they can always go back on. im thikning if i dont take mine off now, youll see where they were, from the sun, later on.

Well it's fine that you guys are doing that, but you just want people to think it's a regular Civic? Just not my cup of tea I guess, no need to do that unless you want to illegally race people on the street which is dumb on it's own.

i see what ur saying. i left my stock badges on cuz they dont bother me. but ppl think its a regular civic anyway. everytime i tell ppl ibought an SI they go whats an SI?.. and i say civic SI.. and they respond with.. oh a civic..... like its new carness is cheaped by the fact its "just a civic" to everyone else lol.

badges look nice imo. alot nicer then previous gen's badges. i'm leavin mine. only thing i might do is the red jdm H's. and thats an IF for 60 bucks lol.

I wish mine was an SI, congrats. But I agree that the civic is underrated, debadging takes away some of that, and eventually with my new exhaust, turbo, intake, and either lowering or lip kit it won't be "just a civic"

sure it will. lol to everyone else it will always be just a civic. even the si's to most ppl are JUST a civic. and as for the mods. that wont really change it cuz everyone else has them too. but who cares what anyone else thinks. you can be proud of what you have and enjoy it by modding it. its w/e makes u happy in the end not what some dumb ppl on the street say when u drive by. this doesnt apply to neon underglow kits or led window pissers. 370 inch aluminum wings exct... for that ppl must be shot. lol

no no no, not so people im racing wont know its an SI. its more than that.

1: So theifs hopefully wont take a second look
2: Keep normal people guessing what it is.
3: Just because theres to much back there IMO.
4: Just to add a little personal touch.
5: yeah sure, i guess 5% of me thinks its a little fun to run someone who thinks im not driving an SI.

i could go on...... but i wont.
