I just purchased a brand new set of Honda Fit rims/tires from a HT member. I needed tires badly and these Fit rims/tires were available, so I picked them up a few days ago. They look decent. I had to use 5mm spacers all the way around because the rims would rub on the control arms. Anyhow, here's a few pics of my beater civic. Its a 4 door, 98 EX, 5 speed. Runs great, completely stock, and gets 35mpg! I won't be doing any mods on this car. I have a turbo teg that's my "play" car.

this should be on the apperance section but while your here wut the heck... those rims look great a lot of people are getting them lately... you just need to lower the car

My bad...I should have put it in that section. If a mod sees this, can you please move the thread to the correct place? Thanks.
As for the drop...no way. I love being a 4x4! lol its so comfortable. I get enough back aches with my teg, and now I'm getting GC's installed this week, so the ride will be even stiffer. That's fine for non daily use but my civic is the daily. I drive this car over 110 miles per day for work. It needs to be as comfortable as can be.

The only springs I feel that are close to stock would be Eibach pro kits. I have no desire to lower the car due to having another car that I modify extensively, plus, I use this car to pick up my son from day care. I don't want his head bobbin' around everywhere lol.
As for having spacers...I really don't know.

the eibach pro kit would be perfect and the ride would be even better than it is now to be honest... and they are not nearly low enough to bob your head all over the place lol not even close... but thats just my opinion

I know what you mean. Honestly, I just like having a stock car and not having to worry about modifying it. I just get in, and go. Only repairs I get done, are repairs thats needed. The tires needed to be replaced, and I found an awesome deal on HT for tires AND rims, so I jumped on it.

Exactly. Now my turbo teg, that's a whole different beast. I'm running into electrical problems and we all know how much of a b*tch that is. ARGHH!
oh man... im learning about auto electrics at school and honestly i dont even want 2 learn the stuff because its sooo dificult and confusing... electrics are hard 2 fix... not like mechanical issues which u can work on yourself
now that its moved to A/C let me be the first to say...DROP THAT SHEIT
nah but really im kinda the opposite. i just bought a fit for a daily and slapped some pro-kits in, handles like a champ and takes speedbumps/driveways nicely as well, and thats with lips all around.
sorry man but it just hurts to see a clean civic like that and its 4x4 status.

Thanks guys. I wasn't planning on putting Fit rims on my car. It just happened that a guy was selling new tires with these rims so I figured, what the heck, I'll put them on. I like them more each day lol
