any help please.. another harness question.
I had one or two other posts about this question but i still dont really know what to do.
Is there any harness i can get for an 89 crx dx with a b16 that will already be wired for mpfi. I know many harnesses are mpfi, but which will fill the best and have the least amount of extra wiring for me to do.. besides the 4 wires for vtec.
My wiring job right now is really really confusing + every wire is white. so its just the most frustrating thing in the world. I want to clean it up alot and basically make it look like a stock harness.
+ i just ordered the s300
..
thanks!

No, there was no DX harness wire for MPFI. You can buy one that someone else has modified but you'll still have to modify the under dash harness to accomodate it.
Do a search, figure it out, it's not that tough. And VTEC only needs 3 wires.

i thought it was the solenoid, 2 for the pressure switch and the 2nd o2 sensor?
and i still just do not understand why the si harness wont work. its made for the crx so how can it not fit right. and its mpfi. how would it be any different?

Correct, you need to add the 2nd O2 sensor, as well as a knock sensor wire.
A Si harness is different because the engine harness unplugs at each shock tower. The wires are different between each shock tower and the ECU.
Your best bet is to keep the DX harness because you can already identify where each wire goes from the actual sensor plugs to the ECU plugs. Since you already know that, you just need to add the missing items.
With the DX harness, you'll also need to add wires for the Cylinder Position sensor.

look at rywire.com youll find everything you need. allthough it would be alot cheaper if you do it yourself plus youll learn something about your own car. its not that hard to do.
easy, send your stock harness and a vtec one into ryan at rywire.com it will be money well spent. he has done a couple for me, plug and play rules!
