I would prefer either...............................over my autometers

But I like the defi's, but i also like having a pocket full of money--so for now the autometers seem to work fine.

If money is no object, go with the defi system. Having control of all of the gauges from one central control unit makes everything very easy to use.

Greddy just released their version of the Defi gauges that are daisy chained to one control box that has peak hold/record/playback. I currently run a Greddy AF meter with Defi Boost/EGT. I will probbaly change to Greddy to the new Boost/EGT sometime this month.

I just ordered my Defi tach, boost, and EGT gauges (in black -- the white is nice, but it's a little too "me too!"). So I guess I'm a bit biased.

Will this work with the old greddy guages? It would be nice to just be able to buy the box, and not need everything else.

I saw the new Greddy gauges in Carboy magazine. The new gauges are supposed to go on sale this week. Defi is also supposed to be releasing a new digital line of gauges that will dislpay two meters in one unit and can be daisy chained like the analog meters. I don't know if the old guages will work with the new box but Greddy has always had a multi meter control box available as an option. For some odd reason they never really advertised it .

Dee...from my understanding the current GReddy guages are produced by Omori...I wonder if they will continue to be produced by Omori...

Omori may make the gauges but the Greddy's nothing like teh normal Greddy line. Defi might be the maker of the new gauge since Defi makes the APEX gauges and another brand that I can't remember.
