First off I want to say thanks for taken the time to check this out and respond to my post if you do! Okay here is my problem; I’m a proud new owner of a 94 civic and I feel stupid for asking this but I have been noticing a small leak coming from the shaft located above the lower control arm behind the left drive axle. I’m not sure because the car sits low and I cant clearly see were and what it connects to but the shaft seems to be connected to the steering gear and it has a rubber boot about dead center on it. This is were I have noticed the leak, yet there is a small round bushing around the shaft with a metal/spring clamp around it. This bushing is were the leak looks to be coming from or it is coming from the inside of that boot but I’m not sure what the heck the part is so I have come for some help if anyone would know what this is and could give me some help let me know thanks!
