torque wrench specs for suspension, exhaust mods
Im curious as to where i can find torque wrench specs for when i put on my lowering springs, skunk2 camber kit and exhaust. how tight are the bolts torqued. thanks in advance if anyone knows.
yeah, this will be my first DIY install of any sort, ive done my homework and thats the last thing bugging me, i just want to do it right and not mess anything up. thanks Rahxephon for the reference, got the info, but like you said and even imo i dont see why torque specs would be pertinent.
well im going off of the hfp muffler for the si, it does give specs, but not for the entire exhaust, only muffler. does it matter if i just tighten it tight as hell??
nah.. dont go tight as hell. your stronger then you thing.. wrist tight is something like 25-35 ft. lbs.
a nice body shrug is like 60-70.. so give it a few nice body shrugs. i got that feel now.. most people who have messed around alot and have snapped bolts can start to feel them twist and know when to stop.

The honest answer here is carefully. You'll be able to figure it out when you're actually looking at it. Sometimes it's best to just do rather than worry about doing.

True backyard mechanics...It's better to get the torque specs then to under tighten it and have something fall off over time or to over tighten it have have the bolt break

i don't no any dealerships that use the torque specs for things like brakes, suspension and such.
