I've owned 3 bikes now and it finally happened. was in downtown seattle leaving my friends apartment with 3 other of my riding buddies. pulled onto the street and was the second one in line and my friend behind me decides to pull a wheelie to try to impress some girls and instead rear ended the hell out of me. tossed me off my bike and the bike laid down on the right side . my friend behind me falls and the last person in the group rode over the scattered oil on the ground and locked his front wheel and went down as well. damage to my bike was rashed mirror, scratched front brake lever, scratched bar end, foot brake bent, snapped rear peg bracket, scratched exhaust, cracked rear tail. vortex frame sliders saved it from being any worst. both of my friends bikes were far worst then mine.

that's horrific... It's an old story, with an old ending. I a sorry you had to participate in the plot complication your "friend"(?) thought fit to drag you into.

 

Wow, that's pretty sh*tty. Now you got a jacked up bike and it wasn't even your fault.

This is exactly why I choose VERY CAREFULLY with whom I ride with. I have three dedicated riding buddies, and we have our "rules" when riding together.

With anyone else, I keep my distance.

DAMN matt sucks to hear thats. This is peter btw. Looks like all those spares i had came in handy. We're all going out for a ride tomorrow I think. I give you a call I can bring some stuff over to get your bike working fixed.

The friends i hang out with are the crazies, the ones i ride and race with, are the level headed quiet people.

I don't mix the two.

 

damn this blows Same thing happened to me but my buddy wasn't doing a wheelie, he just sucked at riding and rear ended my gsxr at a stop sign. Glad you're alright though

it was soo embarassing. instead of them looking "cool" we all looked like dumbasses wrecking in front of a busy pizza parlor . i'm still a bit sore, but i think i should be fine by the end of the weekend.
