►Rally New York : 2007 : Photos◄
What an awesome day it was. Super nice people, really cool cars and one of the best and nicest crowds at any motorsports event. This rally took place in Monticello NY, about 2 hours north of NYC. The town board closes down public roads and lets the rally organization take over for the day.
Lack of a press pass made for some tough angles for some of these pictures, but hopefully you guys can grasp the true grassroots-inspired racers that these teams build for these events. Everything from the driving, to the prep of the vehicles, and the team work involved in these events is nothing short of amazing. I'm not going to caption each photo, but if you have a question regarding a particular picture, feel free to ask.
The first pictures are from about 6am. I was only able to stay until around 1pm also, but they raced through the day until 10pm that night. You can kind of see th progression of daylight in the photos from start to end,. kind of cool.

is that AE86 wearing advan A032r's? Seems like an odd choice for rally...

Sure was! I couldnt understand why either A lot of guys were either running the A032R's or the Hankook RS2's that im running on my Civic.

faaaawk when was this? and why didnt you tell me?! I want to goto any and every Motorsports event i can. With the new yob i have every weekend off and soon i will have that and an extra day off... Next event you better make me aware or else mister.... haha is there a schedule for this type stuff, howd you find out about it?

We found out about it last year, and it was like a godsend. The purist motorsport event you can possibly attend.

not until sept 7/8 eh? damn thanks for the info... your going to the SCCA GT series at Limerock right?... this time i hope to go there sans looping my car... that was so rediculous
