My Prelude has been doing this for a while now and it hasn't bothered me but when my girlfriend drives my car, it freaks her out so I figured I would ask. When I just push in the gas pedal for about a second or two and let off, my car will either keep accelerating for a few seconds or it will sound like it has stopped accelerating, then accelerate again without me even touching the pedal. I thought maybe my pedal was just sticking but I checked that out and it was fine. Does anyone know what else it could be? I have a '94 Si non-Vtec by the way.

EDIT: Also, braking doesn't help it either. If I brake, they car just wants to keep pulling itself until it stops doing that goofy accelerating thing.
