Lowered on 15x7.5 wheels and 195/60 R15 tyres?
Hi everyone. One of my Civics is a 110% stock ES4 sedan (picture here if interested).
Since the law in my country limits the tire choice to the ones that are specified on the car's documents, the biggest I can go is 195/60 R15 (stock is 185/70 R14). I was wondering how the car would look and perform lowered on some 15x7.5 mesh rims...
Has it been done before, does someone have pics or comments/suggestions?
Thanks.

I, personally, haven't seen 195/60/15's on 15x7.5 wheels, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been done before. I've seen plenty of that model lowered on 15's, and I don't think the 15" wheels fill the fenders well enough.
Now, I'm curious, but since you're stuck using the stock sizing of tire, couldn't you try to get the 16" tire setup? Honda did make 16" wheels for your model.

Thanks for your reply.
As I explained, in my country you cannot choose your tire size freely, you have to stick with what's written on the car's papers. This means that I'm stuck with either 185/70 R14 or 195/60 R15.
Honda never sold 16" wheels for this chassis in Portugal.
The EP3 Type-R had 17" wheels, but it is a different chassis, so no dice (also, I would be reluctant to put 17" wheels on a 1.4 liter car).
I wonder if 7.5" wide wheels would fit the wells properly.

Well, I have a set of SSR Reverse Mesh's that are 16x7.5 +34. They fit fine with some 205/50/16's. If that helps you any.

I can't help thinking of some 15x7.5 BBS mesh...

Just so you know, I had a little bit of camber to tuck the +34's, anything around +40 will fit fine, without rolled fenders.
