i want to buy a wrenched prelude tranny......long story short. the car was hit behind very bad so totaled. i want to know will that break the tranny? thx for help. the tranny is 85k and the owner told me it not grind. $400, should i buy it? and btw, how can i tell the tranny good or not without hook it up?

Always a tricky call. Buying a trans from a wrecked car can be fine, but at 85k miles I would be more worried about the condition before the accident.
$400 seems like a good price.........
I would try to work something out so you can have it inspected before you PAY IN FULL.
