Default EX sign

as i was heating the EX sign with a blowdryer for 5 min. i didnt know it was super glued onto the car...lol so when i took it out with floss it kinda took some paint with it. i was gonna remove the adhesive with the chemical remover but i notice some paint was coming off as well. anyone got any tips or suggestions on what can i do so that part of the car will look exactly like the rest of the paint. right now the EX sign is just there but took out the accord logo perfectly. any help?
thanks

The entire piece of (lower part of the trunk) the trunk needs to be painted now, if the area has paint "chipped" off, needs to be sanded, primed and paint that spot.... clear coat the rest of it. Should look like it never happened before.
Of course, you could do it the easier way, and pick up some touch up paint from an auto store or something and do it.
Use a cotton swab (the thing to clean ear) instead of the brush that comes with touch up bottles. Reason why, is that the swab is capable of laying the mettalics of the paint way better than a brush (which accumulate them and drag them as you touch it up).
Hope this helps you!

it really does help. i was going to go get some touch up paint from autozone. should i do it or should i let them do it. and i should take off the left over residue from the glue with adhesive remover right? before applying the touch up paint? anyone got any pics for when they had to use touch up paint so i get an idea of what it looks like.
thanks a lot guys

Yeah, remove the glue left over, and just simply do it yourself. Like i mentioned to you, the brush inside touch up bottles leaves drag marks... carrying the mettalics.. which will create a result that won't blend with the rest of the original paint. Odds are, it could look darker.
So do it like i just told you, use the cotton swab and roll it on the chipped area. Give a few coats until desired result is achieved.
Give it a couple of minutes between each coat.

Default put it back?

Chances are the re-finish by hand won't look too hot unless you sand and spray-paint. You might just want to put a new EX logo back on, or some other logo to cover the spot.
