With 195/55 tires on 15" wheels I turn 4200 rpm at 80 mph which happens to be the sweet spot for the AEM.
.....5th gear i'm at 4700 (ATS final drive).
What sissies you guys are! LOL

I wouldn't talk, Mr. I cannot drive my car in the rain, 'cuz it'll stain the car.
back from the dead!
im around 4k @ 70 , and 4300-4400 @ 80...
now i commute to work 25 miles on the highway each way, would sustaining this speed for a good half hour do a number on my oil? Reason i ask is because i go through about 1/2 qt oil every tank. would oil cooler help this situation?
thanks

Same here. Got to see it last night for the firtst time with the ATS installed in the race caR. I totally understand now why everyone raves about this FD. Best mod for the money IMO.

Yep, brought this topic back from the dead... needed to know if driving at 4k for about 25-30 mins at a time will burn off my oil?

get a catch can.....
180-180-180-185 on my motor on an ol'skool snap-on gauge....
drove 1300kms 6000plus rpm with a JDM final drive + lots of visits to redline. I had to fill oil twice during that trip.....4 stops for gas....3 complete full gas-ups plus a top up cuz it was still cheap before I got into the other city....
25-30mins ain't going to hurt much at all....but get a good catchcan.
