Default BALL JOINT BOOTS

can i buy a ball joint boot from say a 95 honda civic, and put it on a ball joint from an 87 civic? the only place i can go to get the boot for my car is a dealership and i dont feel like paying their prices, so im wondering if later model civics' ball joint boots are interchangeable with older model. any help would be appreciated.

I know this isnt answering ur question, but get the right size boots, because if a ball joint fails, u could get into some serious trouble, just my .02 cents

why not just buy a new ball joint there only 20 bucks

then go to a shop and have someone press if for you it wont be more than 30 bucks to press it in

Try energy suspension. I got my ball joint boots from them but they were for a second gen.
