Engine swap, no spark, check engine light doesnt light up during system ckeck
Heres the story, about a year ago i had taken my 93 accord EX out to auto cross, spun a bearing, and since the engine had 380000 miles on it i decided to get a new engine. I boutgh from a local business that guarantee less than 60000 miles on there engines dropped it in without any problems, aside from wounderfulwashington weather, and now there is no spark. plugs wires and coil are new, the check engine light does not light during the prestart check on the dash as well as when when i jump the service plug/connector. im at my wits end i need help please!!!
you will have to check a couple of things first. when you key to "on" position do you hear the fuel pump click on? you will also need a dvom, to back probe and test voltage at your ignition coil. i know you bought a new one, but if you don't have power to that, then you won't have spark meaning it's somewhere prior to coil. you could have a blown fuse, which is also pretty common. come back with some results, and i'm sure someone will be able to help you a little more in depth.
so i checked the fule pump and it does turn on. i have tested coil and there is no power, all fuses are in tact. im not sure where to start as far as wiring.
The ground wire at the Tstat housing tight and clean?
Power to the Black/yellow wire of the dist. plug with the Key On?

It seems to be clean, the wiring harness is farely new. distributor is also brand new out of the box.
