quick sohc question

Default quick sohc question

alright, so heres an idea i have.

using a d15b7 block with a d16y7 head, will i be able to use the b7 belt and y7 head gasket??

my y7 block has a rod knock, and i came up on a d15b7 block.

Im not positive but i think rule of thumb is to use the belt in which head you are using. you might wanna check it out cause it could be the other way around though. And keep in mind the belt and gasket have to be replaced when swappin the y7 head on the b7 block. hope this helps ya man.
