how do i know if my syncro needs replacement

hey i got a 1993 civic hatch with a d16y7 in it well i bled the clutch and it works good on first but when going into second i have to pump the clutch twice or more for it to go in but it still grinds a litle bit what can it be??? oly in second gear thanx

Sounds like a transmission problem. When it comes to Transmission problems, its a slippery slope, meaning if it starts out small, theres no real way of stopping it, it only snowballs and gets worse and worse. Its not worth having synchros replaced in a D-series trans, than it is to just buy a new/used trans and have that put in.
Id look for a Y8 or Z6 trans, shortest factory SOHC gears, which means good acceleration (for a SOHC)
