Default Radiator spits liquid out

I've searched and came up with nothing much. I got a '95 civic d16z6. I replaced the hoses recently and the radiator is about 1yr. old. Whenever Im driving on a hot/warm day I noticed that it spits out the coolant out of the resevoir tank. especially when i park. Thats the onlt place its coming out of. The temperature guauge reads normal and the fan works. It over heated last week because it spit out all the coolant. Also the coolant leaves an orange residue , and when i open up the radiator cap I can see an orange residue on the inside of the radiator and also in the resevoir tank. Kind of like a rust color, and its an aluminum radiator..

Well any suggestions on what it could be ? or anything I can due that might help ?? Thanks!

i had a similar problem too when my radiator fan die on me causing my radiator resevoir tank spit out coolants also. but nothing rusty or orange inside my radiator or resevoir. My temp gauge also went up to H. But when i got the coolant fan to work everything went back to normal, no spitting out coolant from my resevoir or temp gauge reaches H.
check if your fan is working, it just might be that.
or maybe your thermostat one bad too.

my hatch does the same thing but without the orange ****, when i park it and let it idle for a while it starts to spray the coolant out into the overflow and eventually starts to spray out of the overflow, i also noticed the temp goes way up in the process. i was thinkin the thermostat was sticking but idk, im gona replace that and see if it still happens

I had a similar problem, my thermoswitch was bad and my fan would not turn on. So when i started to overheat, fluid would fill up in the resevoir tank and proceed to boil over almost. I ended up replacing the thermoswitch and thermostat and everything is fine now. I have a reservoir tank on the way because mine has a small leak and when the motor heats up i lose some fluid.
