take your valve cover off, start sanding with 800, sand more, then sand with 1000, sand some more, then sand with 1200, then wet sand with like 1500 and polish your *** off, it only takes time and effort my friend

yah basically i started with 220, 400, 600, 1000,1500, 2000 .. i watersanded throughout all those grits..and used mothers mag polish..took me almost 8hrs doin my old sohc cover heres a pic of it
