loud squeek?

loud squeek?

Ok when accelrating in high rpm's in 2nd and 3rd my car makes a loud squeeking/whistle noise lyk a bottle rocket makes when it shoots off. Could this be my timing belt?

maybe just on of your regular belts. make sure they are tight, or spray them with belt conditioner to see if the squeek goes away.

More likely it's your ac or power steering. Check and see if any belts are too tight/loose.

If your timing belt squeaked/jumped you'd notice a lot more than noise.

well by alot more..my car kinda hesitates could that be a timing problem> cuz i though it was my 02 sensor

It could also be the dizzy bearings starting to go. My 93lx made intermittent squeaks at higher RPM, then more regular squeaks at high rpm, then regular squeaks at all rpm, then the dizzy was toast.
