Default 17X7.5 fit on civic

I was wondering if 17x7.5 wheels will fit on a 99 civic sedan? I know 17x7 fits..but you think .5 will be too wide?

For 17" wheels on your car, you will need 205/40-17 size tires. Most tires that size are approved for wheels 7.0-8.0 inches wide. So yes, 17x7.5 should work fine. Just make sure you get the correct offset for the wheel width (the best offset number for 17x7.5 is not the same as the best offset number for 17x7).
