Default EF D and B series lover's a Adjustable Front Torque/Mount Kit Traction Bar System

I thought I would get your guys input on this...ya or na?

EF traction bar system with our adjustable Front Torque/Mount Kit...features polyurethane bushing on each end to soften the vibration as well as being adjustable. You can adjust how much tension you want on the front mount. We have had good sucess on this similar design with the Prelude/Accord's. Infact World's Fastest Prelude is running the same setup. Enough talk onto the pictures of what they would look like. It would clear the OEM radiator and fan as well. Pictured below is our latest DA B series traction bar.

Just for reference the below picture is what our existing EF Traction Bar System looks like...

This picture shows our double shear bracket mounted to the LCA. It's job is to share the stress over 2 points instead of one.

I would definitely rock one

I'll probably be getting a set of your mounts soon, since I'm graduating and working. My D16 ripped itself off a mount somehow, the ES poly inserts aren't holding it in well at all. My only issue with these is that they move me from SM2 to E-Mod, but I'd rather have the reassurance the 99% of the time I'm driving it outside of autocross.

you should'nt have any issues on our traction bars running a 3" our EF bars are located under the stock radiator tabs.

The Front Torque/Mount actually uses up a lil less room then the OEM unit...

What about the different mount kits out there? Being that different kits place the motor in different positions? What mounts did you use when fabricating this? I assume your own.

Correct I can't make a bar for the 5 different kits out there... The good is the Front Torque/Mount is adjustable to adjust from mount kit to mount kit... I would imagine the mount kits out there would only have a front to back difference and not a lot of side to side...

As far as cost it would be similar if not same as our Prelude/Accord Front Torque/Mount Kit Traction Bars...

maybe make the brackets a little wider and use a couple washers on each side of the arm, this way if a mount kit moves the motor slightly(it cant be much or there would be axle problems) you can move the washers to one side or the other maybe a 1/4 on each side spaced by washers would do, I know it seems a little hokey but Im sure it would solve any alignment issues from mount kit to mount kit

Correct Crx Jimmy...that would probably be best some washer for mis alignment and enlargin the bracket on either end...

The above pix are of the DA like I mentioned... as you can see our bars are under 1/4" under the radiator tabs...so there is optimal ground clearance...on the DA you can't even see the bar. EF is a lil more noticable but on EF bars 1/4" directly under the radiator tabs as high as we can get them...

I would imagine this would also work on the H2B B series CABLE trans as well...

As far as this Front Torque/Mount Kit working with our EF H22 swap not likely the Clutch Cable/Hydro Conversion Lever System bolts up right there in it's way.

This is just for Cable trans reason being Hydro's have no previsions
