So, I call Comptech today to buy a Air Intake and a Ice Box.

The salesperson said they didn't have anymore instock and said that they might not be making anymore of there products. He said that they are trying to get rid of everything.

I asked him why, and he said that they might be going out of business because it is costing them to much money to make there product, and they aren't making enough money on there product.

He also told me that with there high pricing, that is hard for them to compete with everyone else.

I told him I really want the intake and the Ice box, and he told me to email him in a day and see if they are still going to be open.

If you doubt me call comptech and just ask for Nate.

Other than that I really hope they don't go out of business. I really like there products.

Has anyone else experienced this?

 

i have heard about this, they do have some good products

 

They're not going out of business completely. They're just stopping the production of consumer products. They're still doing race-team applications and R&D.

 

i had the same experience a couple weeks ago, i called to get the lower air horn for my ice box and told me the same thing, and that guy nate told me to email him so i did, but haven't heard back from him yet...

Looks like I'm stuck getting a ARC air box instead.

Ouch, those things are expensive.
