msd on b16 crx

Default msd on b16 crx

i just put a msd box on my crx with a b16 and it ran fine without it but when i put it on my car wouldnt start up its not getting fire and i ran it like the instructions said has anyone had problems with this before?

Disconnect it and sell it. You dont need that, it just becomes another problem you need to fix.

there is a little black button looking thing on the side of it with a phillips head screw in it take that cap off and to be calibrated for a 4 cylinder i think both wires i have to be cut i learned about this when i put one that was cut on my mustang and the rev limiter was half of what the chip was

Sorry bro, these guys are right on... MSD = Garbage for hondas... if you throw a SBC in there you might need it. Stock honda ignition is better, and more reliable. MSD is only M'ulti S'park D'discharge at low rpms, in higher rpms where hondas make power it goes to single spark across all cylinders at the same time... I pulled one out of a customers car who had a b16 that I built for 9k he had a 8k pill in the msd... ??? after taking it out he was like, "WOW my car seems a lot faster" well duh... LOL
