drop question

Default drop question

hey this may have been asked all ready i tried to search but my internet was messing up and wouldnt search..... but i have a 05 coupe and i just ordered 17x7 rims with 225/45/17 tires.... what i am wondering is how much should i drop i would like to do coilovers but as a teen still in school money is pretty tight

Those tires are gonna be too big for a drop...

I wouldn't recommend anything lower than 1.5"

Unless you get smaller tires, or roll the fenders out.

you can diy a fender roll with a baseball bat. It might be time consuming but people have done it.

225's/45/17's are gunna rub no matter wat. Probably your best bet for springs are H&R sport, tein S tecs, or eibach sportlines, as they all have mild drops

hard enough that I wouldn't try it myself.

Take it to a well known shop, that has done many fenders before.
