i have a 93 honda civic hatchback with stock motor only mod is headers and intake
and lately its been doing this when iam in 2 or 3rd gear i give it gas but it wont go so i floor it then it goes like theres not enough power
also when i brake i hear a whistling sound what can that be ??

maybe you need a tune-up. you most likely need brake pads too

 

thats a civic allright.....gives gas and no go ,yup thats your problem,its a civic.

 

its not going becasue its a stock D with exhaust

I had something really similiar to that with my old D series. If your car is pretty low usually the honeycomb in your cat gets busted up from scrapes and bumps. That can block exhaust flow, restricting air flow. I took it to a shop and got a new cat and everything was fine. It could be one of the reasons.

 

i got code 6 and need help
