Mini me gone bad...need advice
hey,. i was doing an engine swap and putting a d16z6 head on a d16y8 block. everything was going smooth until it came time to torque the head down. because on the second round of torquing
i cracked the block and the head bolt still is not all the way down. SO if you are putting a z6 head on a y8 block should you use the y8 head bolts?
and is there anything I can do do to prevent me from buying a new engine?

what do you mean a combo of the two? I mean, riggin up the cracked block would just be a tempory thing. I just need to get it running. until I can buy a new engine again. what do you think
pics will have to wait but most def. cracked the block. it's a thin hair line crack but a crack none the less. anyone know what I should do? so far i have JB weld for the outside and BLock seal for the inside.
