Default Cars dies when warm

I have a 1990 Civic Si hatchback that I purchased two or three weeks ago. This week I started having a problem where when the engine gets up to normal operating temperature it dies. It will not start again until the engine has cooled down. I have replaced the igniter, coil, distributor, and the main relay and still no luck. I searched the forums and found a few similiar problems, but no answers. On a side note I replaced the spark plugs at the end of last week, so I pulled them and regapped them just in case. I would appreciate any insight available. Thank you.

Possible IACV??? It's what controlls the amount of air entering the throttlebody when the car is warmed up. Try removing it and cleaning out the screen where the air flows through. It's located on the intake manifold.

Also check your PCV valve.

I have cleaned out the IACV, and replaced my pcv valve and still no luck. I am going to replace the fuel filter today, but I am doubtful as to the results. I appreciate all the input I have been given so far, and would appreciate any more that is offered.
ED6JDM, when you said get the ecu tested, what did you mean? Do you just take it to a dealer to test it? Thanks.

Are you getting any codes? Does the temp. gauge read correctly? You may actually be overheating and are not aware of it...

I am not getting any codes which does surprise me. The gauge reads a moderate reading for temp, is there another way I could check?
