i have it on jackstands off the ground, and i can put the car in gear like 1st, and the wheels move. i can turn a tire and the other side rotates. when in neutral, only one side rotates. i dont know if its normal or not. believe it or not, im 17 and i did a clutch job on my geo storm about 7 months ago and it went fine. i dont know what to do. my last attempt is to get a prybar and try to lock up the hub from turning and use an impact/breaker bar and get it off.. ive already gotten the ball joint off. used a pickle fork and didnt damage the boot. i seriously am getting overwhelmed here. i thought it was going to go fine. but i dont know. any suggestions?

Its totally normal....When you rotate one, the other should rotate in the opposite direction as the one you are turning.

im so glad to hear that. thats what i thought at first but my dad made me overthink so many times i didnt know what to think, im thinking about lowering the car off the stands.... since i have everything hooked back up. pop the cap out of the tire. put it back on and then take the hub nut off while the car is on the ground. then raise it. i did that for a neon and it worked beautifully, and the foot pounds for the backs were i believe 150 or 160, the hondas is 134 so it shouldnt be as difficult, just dealing with my dad can be hassling enough
