Default air in hydraulic system

okay this all started about 2 months ago when i changed my brakes pad as i was squeez ing in the caliper piston what happened was liquid fell from the MC on the ground and i opened the cap to relieve pressure.. well after since than.. i would lose pressure in the pedals like it would sink into floor.. afterawhile the clutch pedal would lose pedal after the brakes gets back to normal.. is the brakes and clutch hydraulic system link in any way..

new clutch, new slave cylinder and master..

new master for the brakes also.. is there a vaccum leak that i dunno about thats letting air into both... no leaks from the master cylinder for brakes.. and the system is sealed for the clutch.. this is very akward.. no leaks in any of the lines i traced them all..

if the brakes loose pressure the clutch would feelfine.. after the brakes regains its pressure.. the clutch loose pressure and would go to the floor.. both doesn't lose pressure at the same time..

I imagine you're talking about some kind of Honda, right?? (j/k)

Clutch and brake systems are not connected in any way except they use the same fluid. They don't even share the same reservoir like in my Saab.

What kind of brake fluid? Years ago when I first used Valv.SynPower, my Integra and an '89 Saab that I had both did the same sinking brake pedal.

Switched back to Castrol LMA and the Saab was good. The Integra needed a new MC. I never knew whether it was coincidence or what...

The clutch problem and brake problem are two different issues. After you noticed that it was leaking and took the top off, did you bleed the brakes?

You shouldn't have to do that just to replace pads, but thats what I would do to start.
