Ok. This seems to ONLY happen on extremely hot days. Randomly when I push the break pedal down, it goes to the floor but with very little breaking power. It seems like it only happens if i have the clutch down also, so i usually just downshit + break to avoid this. But i'm not sure if it only happens when the clutch is down.

All my lines/fluids were flushed this month (so says the autoshop).

Wondering what might be causing this. I got 126 topics with break issues, not couldn't find this specifically. thanks!

 

brake master cylinder needs to be replaced more than likely.

i just had this problem. brake pedal would gradually sink to the floor while stopping.

it's like $97 online for a geniune honda one if you want to replace it yourself

The first step would be to bleed your breaks to remove any air in the lines.If that dosent help its probally the master.

 

Check the lines to make sure you don't have a leak anywhere, but yes that usually means you have a bad master cyl. If they were drums it could be a bad wheel cylinder, but its most likely the master.
