Default Auto-Tensioner Problems

So after my T-belt started whining when i got it back from Honda, now 2 months later i was just told that my Auto Tensioner has failed, because of the new belt being tighter and requiring it to actually work? Can anyone tell me around how much the H23 manual conversion costs? i was quoted at around 500 for a new auto tensioner by Honda, need some insight.

That looks like the right part.

Heres a quick list of the parts you need for the manual tensioner conversion:
The h23 tensioner pulley
The long bolt the tensioners ride on, with the big washer behind it
Either the h23 balancer tensioner pulley or some washers.
The spring perch for the tensioner spring
The bolt that the tensioner pivots on
The triangle bracket that locks the tensioner in place.

I would go the extra steps and install a manual one, especially if my auto one just broke.
