Default another boring car wont start thread

so i drove to work today and when i went back to my car about a couple hours later the thing wont start. i tried to jump it and nothing. i checked the fuses and nothing. when i try to start the motor it does not crank and even my dash lights dont come on. i know the battery is good because i tested it. the car does have an alarm that i bought the car with but i dont use it. it looks like it was hacked so i dont try to expletive with it. this is the first time it does this so i dont know what to do. can anyone help me out?

Seem like your alternator is not recharging and it's eating up your battery or you have a bad ground somewhere. Or your starter is taking a **** on you.

You dash light will still come on if the alterantor is not recharging. But if the alternator is dead then your car is just running straight from the battery in which it will eat the battery up sooner or later.

ok found out i was the alarm i bought the car with. the thing must be wired throughout the entire car. it tripped by itself and caused nothing to turn on including my dashlights. anyone have an idea of what the alarm is tapped into that would cause this

try this. might work might not. but take the negitive off the battery and put your key on the on position. then put your neg back on. it should reset the alarm.

They probably wire something wrong. Just take out the alarm, trace the wires and cut it off.
