b18c1 in a crx

Default b18c1 in a crx

Ok i have a 1990 crx and i know u can put a b18c1 in it but what i dont know is if u can keep power steering and ac with it. can anyone enlighten me?

You can keep A/C, a simple search would tell you that much. There are a couple of companies that make brackets, or you could fab up your own.

As far as the power steering goes? I didn't know USDM CRXs had P/S, but I'm really not sure on that note.

correct no us crx had PS, but you can have it fairly simply by swappin in a EF EX rear crossmember and rack and pump, MAY require the use of the EX column but I doubt it.

I have seen it but its stupid I have an ef hatch with a gsr swap and a closed diff and I drive it everyday lol its a ******* honda civic dude if you cant turn it your a girl

Hey you go and come up with a better insult. A friend of mine who is a tiny little girl drove her 90 CRX DX (obviously without power steering) without any problems for many years.

ok thanx guys i didnt think it had power steering cuz my freinds dosnt but his is a 87 but it dosnt really matter cuz the car is so light thanks a bunch

You just answere your own question. Yes, since the CRX is so light, no power steering assistance is needed.
