Bjorn,

Most people on this forum will give you a hard time for posting threads like this. This is what we call "Ricer." (or a "Chav" in england if covered in plaid). This entails obnoxiously large body kits, huge wings, underglow, or altezza headlights that have no functional purpose. I personaly find the kit medicore. If you lost the vents and smoothed it up it would be ok but still not my style. Wide body kits are usually only used on RWD, AWD race cars where they need to run very wide wheels in order to maximise traction. On a FWD car you would only really run a wide body kit for a) looks or b) a drag car but that would be a totaly different style (one piece).

However, if your really want to do this you can probably find a kit on line. Google search "civic wide body kit." If you want to make it your self your gona need to use sheet metal and a whole work shop of tools. Doing it your self would be really hard and if you dont have the experience you probably shouldn't even try. If you pull it off and do it well, however, you will get some serious props.

Hope this helps, its your car do what you want.

Dont do it! Please dont do it! The HONDA GODS beg you not to do it. Think about it. After all the money you spend in getting the kit, having it put on, and painted, you could have made your car go a lot faster. Then spanked some Euro tail!

I say go for it. Why not? Just make it clean like the one pictured. I seen a EG coupe with a widebody kit that didn't look too shabby.

if your going to put 127 in fender flares and darth vader style body kit on your civic (def not my style either), atleast buy wheels that are going to fill them out with a fat lip, dont rock your 17x7s

This is why H-T suck. Because you people are ******* ingnorant. Usually america sets the trends and other countries follow and yes there is a couple year lag on the process. Its like how California sets the style trends and then the guys on the east coast are about a year and a half behind. Don't tell me that you never saw cars like this at HIN four years back. expletive H-T.

I am putting this kit in January on my 99 si, and if done properly and the right wheels are put on, and the giant wing is left off the car, it will look very nice. just remember you are gonna have people in shitty-*** looking cars spank you, so I'd do power first, if you email them over at www.estrictlyforeign.com they will help you out and give you a shipping quote and such, they ship worldwide so it will cost a bit for shipping but if thats what you want go for it, I personally like this wide body kit and have only seen one other civic kit and it was **** (feelz kit) this kit is well designed and like someone said ealier you will need to fill the wheel wells unlike the pics you posted, some spacers or wider rims should fix that.
