this is gonna be a long shot...but somebody might be able to help me out.

i purchased some brand new jdm eg6 thin door mouldings. they are flat black/rubber.

i noticed on certain jdm eg6's that their door mouldings are painted gunmetal/gray from the factory. example:





i was wondering if anybody here knew the color code for that gray color on the mouldings. i know i could just pick some random gray...but theres no need to be ghetto when it can be done right

those are paint matched to the body color of the car it looks like. and that front bumper cover fits like ***

whoa, looks like he made a light shade of the crey his car is and had them painted like that to offset it

 

those are definately not paint matched to the car lol

Jimmy, they're actually not painted and only certain colours and models recieved the flat gray plastic side mouldings.

 

thanks james.....i've never seen the grey ones in person so i thought they were painted from factory.

i think ill just stick with flat black or get them color matched.

these came on my front clips fenders. Def. a oem option, but i am not sure of the color. Maybe can flake some paint off and send it to u so u can try to match it.

My JDM thin moldings were a flat black. The same color of moldings that are on UDSM 88-00 Civics. I've never seen/heard of these grey moldings. Anyone know which cars they came on?
