Damn, I don't know how I feel about that. He should not have been going that fast I guess, but that cop is ******' retarted. I hope that the rider recovered ok.
I'm sorry, I respect police officers but had I been there I would have broken the drivers side window, dragged the cop out and proceed to beat his f***ing head in.

+1.... ridiculous.
+1.... ridiculous.
Now, you can't really tell when the cop pulled out, but if the screetching tires around 31 seconds was him, then the rider had plenty of time to stop but instead either got scared and grabbed a handful of throttle, or was just being an idiot and thought the cop would move out of his way.
Either way, its hard to tell. This could have all been prevented if they weren't doing stupid **** on public roads...

i did not watch the video because i do not have a user name.
i am a police officer. i never pull street bikes over. first because they are just too fast. if they run on me i would not even chase. I have pulled up next to them to say slow down (and nice bike).
I will never give a street bike a ticket. too much love for them. plus there is a bunch of us who ride and we cant give tickets for things we do too

That was the most ridiculous thing I think I have ever seen.
You know it was europe because in america if there was a mob of people like that, the cop would have been drug out of his car and beaten to death while his car was flipped over and burned.
The kid looked pretty fucked up. Hope he recovered.

why would i lie about being a police officer and how can i prove it to you?
the only way we even try to attempt to chase a bike is if its a high risk stop... i e felony vehicle, stolen etc... we wil not pursue for a traffic infraction. it would not be authorized.
if our helicopter is up it is a different story. they will follow you and we will shop up at your door.

I think you might be right... maybe the biker wasnt paying attention? it just doesnt seem like a situation that he couldnt have maneuvered out of if he was alert.

maybe where you're from...
over here there would be a dead cop story on the news...sad, but if you mess with a biker like that and a group of friends/acquaintances are around, someones paying.

You think an American cop would do something like that if there was only one of him?

+1 to that
in my opinion, if there weren't people standing on the side the rider prob wouldn't have tried to show off and in doing so, lost situational awareness...
