im repainting my whole car a different color this weekend and im taking off the hood, bumpers, decklid, and doors. I work at a highend restoration shop and have hung doors before but how hard is it on an eg civic or honda in general... i know all the tricks in the book from experience in my shop but i really dont want to spend 17 1/2 hours on adjusting on door
THANKS
THANKS
Just took off my doors, fenders, bumper and all the other crap today. Wasn't hard to do. Just make sure to take the pin out from the door before you take the bolts off. Kind of hard to knock the pin out while holding the door.
And who the hell spends that long lineing a door up? Jesus Jeff!

Im going with the stock teal. Just wanna get everything looking brandnew again. Not trying to rush anything since I have the Accord and an 07 F250 to get around in. Gonna be sick once I lay that PPG down though
What kind of paint are you using?

HybridKOOP aligned his perfectly he said. you could ask him for tips then share with us!!
I know when I threw my fenders back on I wish I woulda waited a day or two longer because i got a little chip on the door when i tried to tighten the 10mm on the fender. i painted my car in my garage and i guess 1 day wasn't long enough to cure lol.

I did this on my EG side skirts, doors, fenders, hood, front bumper. did it by myself and had it all done in 2-4 hours.

I kinda just eyeballed it but i guess they make "feeler" gauges for this kind of work.
It took me 15 minutes to take off my doors, fenders and hood. But 15 hours to get them realigned. I forgot to measure first
