Euro or JDM spec DOHC Si.

It's just like our regular Si, but it's got the DOHC ZC in it, different cluster, hood and JDM side markers and clear corner lights.

Nice.

the mileage says 298,000 kilometers but how the engine runs and drives id guess a whole of alot less........ it also has headlights that go up and down in the headlight casing for better view at night

The better question is how did you get it, is it legit (imported properly with docs) and are you only planning on selling it?

It seems to be a EDM ZC DOHC CRX. Pretty nice pieces on that one, but if the car isn't legit, if its a grey market car, some people might not be willing to pay up and deal with the paperwork involved in buying it.

You may end up better off parting it out piece by piece. If so and I hate to do this, I would be interested in the complete taillights, wing and possibly the hood, lol.

yeh thats the problem im no sure if i have the proper paperwork for it so basically id get rid of it for pretty cheap...... it came from a german soldier that came here im pretty and just sold it to some person... the reason there is no papers is becuase he was in the geram army so he got it here through the military so i guess he didnt have to have the correct or proper paerwork......... lol ive bveen thinking about parting out thou

if i had the money i would give you 3k for it, but its probably worth more, you could get a good sum of money by parting it out, if i had the money and you parted it out i would also buy a bunch of parts off it...

I have that switch as well it was a germany only option, the switch is for the zc and sir(vt) lights, the lights have motors on them and they are power adjustable, you can turn them down or up with the switch

Damn nice find for the US!

VIN says JHMED937..... so it's a legit ZC CRX.

Okay, I understand better now. German soldier on duty here brought the car with him through the military.

They are actually allowed to do so, however with American Military regs, you can bring over an import from another country without docs, provided you cannot sell the car stateside, period. IIRC (if I recall correctly, someone may be able to add to this).

Usually the car becomes part of military property, gets shipped back and sold or just crushed. So in this case he did sell it here since it seemed close enough to our CRX's.

Yup, that is a true gray market car, no docs and not supposed to be here. You can still get good coin for it, you just may take a while selling it because of having to find someone willing to deal with that issue.

Or as mentioned, you can part it out and probably make even more than if you sold it as is. Take a look through some of the classified ads that are in archive here on Honda Tech and you can see what some of the parts similar to yours have sold for so you can at least make it worth your while to part the car out.

You definately wont make as much selling as is considering the gray market part.
