first off i did some searching. as a matter of fact i have been searching for a few days.
here is my problem... i have a 91 civic si and i put in a fresh d16y7. i kept my dizzy, trans, and intake mani. everything is put back how i took it out. vac lines and electrical and all the goods have been put back in place. problem? car wont start! i have no spark! the starter cranks the motor and i have no start
i have the motor in time and i put it TDC and set up the dizzy and all that good stuff and i still have no spark thus no start! i know the d16y7 has a crank positioning sensor but i do not have a plug for it on my harness. PLEASE HELP! i need my car running again! if there is any help that can be given i would appreciate it! if i dont get it fixed in the next couple days im going to have to send it to a shop which i really dont want nor can afford to do right now. please help!

Thermostat ground is very important.
Any CEL? Your car should start. Are you sure you aren't getting spark? Are you sure everything is plugged in?
Sometimes going over everything is very important at the end of a swap to make sure you can save yourself headaches like these.
Your car SHOULD start. It's not starting cause something wasn't done right. All you did was change the block and head, the car from a running point of view doesn't care if it's OEM or not, it should start it, so something is missing.
