Can i switch say a 91 si civic hatchback doors onto my 91 civic hatchback dx? i got a new car dont like the doors and the window on passenger sides off track tried fixing it and its just F'ed!

i dont want to really take it in to get it fixed as they have rips on them anyway? what can i do? couldent i swap doors off another civic hatchback for these? the interiors grey so i figure should be easy to find black or grey ones?

Rightous thnks wiz just one more question it has a clifford alarm inside the car. what do i look at to findout what type it is i need the remote to turn it on. the guy said it works he just never got a new remote for it? anyone familiar with this pls shed some light on this.

do i need a special tool or anything to pull the doors off i cant find any faqs about this anywhere and have never done it as its my first car. reason im pulling them is theres rips on each windows off track and theyre just in pretty poor condition.

can anyone shed light on this subject pls im new to all this and bought this car to fix it up to learn on it. help a noob out

 

Many times, the best way to learn is to get your hands dirty . The doors will come off relatively easily, just unbolt the hinges and seatbelts. Lining up the new doors are what's a pain in the ***. You will want to use a floor jack to help support the doors while you're removing / installing them. Good Luck!

 

i figured that much whats so hard about the lining up tho? i would think youd just pop the bolts in and bam theyre done? do i need to adjust the hinge positioning? pls give a little more detail and what will be needed. sry to sound retarded jsut wanna know what im looking forward to b4 i jump into it.
