Default damn f4i teardown and rebuild

i swear to god i have to oddest problems with my bike. ok, i went to open my trunk today and i heard the cable come off the lock. so heres my question...how am i gonna get in there to put the cable back on? its an aftermarket tail, i ahve no idea what kind it was on there when i got it. because you have to remove the seat to remove the upper part of the tail that lets you get to teh cable. am i stuck?

i would try taking the tank, front seat, battery, etc out. basically everything you get remove on the rear tail. then try to reach in there and either release it manually or try hooking the cable back up.

couldnt quite get it. i had to fanangle the rear lower piece off and slide it out of the way and release the trunk manually like that. the damn little plastic piece that holds the metal ball in place for the trunk release broke off. so i guess i wont be using my trunk anymore...booo.
