Default 100w x 4 amp

Name me a good 100w x 4 amp at 4 ohms (or thereabouts). I've been lookin at the autoteks mainly but am open to suggestions. Lookin to spend less than $350 so nothing high end on the scale of helix/brax/arc.

I would look for a RF800.4 - I think that's one of the best you could do at that price range...maybe a jl300/4 is that cheap...

Autotek is a good bang-for-the-buck amp.

What are you going to run?

I'm unsure right now... Either Diamond m661's up front and m36i's in the rear... Or Rainbow Sound Line comps up front, sound line co-ax's in the rear... Or CDT CA60/CL61's (unsure again) up front and CDT CAX6000 for rear's... I'd like to stick with the same brand for front and back. What's your take on these?

How much do all those speakers you mentioned go for?

Off the top of my head for prices i've seen... The diamonds go for $200 and $125 (ebay), the rainbows $300 and $150 (ampmanaudio), and the cdts $300 and $150 (ampman). I could be off since this is off the top of my head but thats a rough ballpark figure.

Well, after taking a look at what you want to spend, skip the rear speakers...it's a waste of money....last time I went to a concert, the guys were on stage infront of me, not behind me!!

Keep the stockers in the rear, and fade all the way forward, when you have people in the back, fade it back there a bit.

Then I look at 350 for an amp + your choices in speakers (range from 325 - 450) = total cabin $$ (675 - 800) For 800, go for the Rainbow Pro's and an Arc 2100. Maybe even some a/d/s/ 3-series and an Arc 2100 (obviously I'm pro arc...I chose them over everything else out there in the price range)

I think that's going to give you superior sound over splitting your resource to the front and rear. Put the quality where you sit...up front. That's just my take on it. I put a/d/s/ 3 series in the front and rear of my bro's BMW, and the first thing I do when I get in the car is fade it forward!!

Hm, maybe if the rears don't matter so much, I should get some cheaper co-ax like a pioneer one. Or do you think that sound would conflict too much with the sound of the fronts? I personally like to have some sound come from behind me but nothing to overpower the front obviously. I just like the feeling of being immersed in the audio more so than a solid front image hence why I want to replace all 4 (can't stand the sound of the stock speakers especially after replacing the fronts).
